My name is Rochelle Cartagena - Segura, lovingly known as Mama Rocs.
Born in Brick City Newark, New Jersey, and born to Puerto Rican parents. My dad was an Army Seargent and everyones favorite military Army Chef. He moved us all to the Bay Area where he was ultimately stationed.
I grew up loving to watch my Dad, Mom and Abuelita cook our amazing Boricua Cuisine! So I continued their legacy by opening up Mama Rocs Puerto Rican & Caribbean Kitchen! And the one and only 1961 Vintage Aloha Food camper, in California and the US! I can’t wait for you to taste my Puerto Rican cooking, it will not only warm your tummy, but your Heart and Soul!
